BTW, a great website with a variety of strategies.

That's cool.... I just look for "mad money" I have all my beer paid for for the rest of the year so far. At this point, it's just for the thrill of the kill anyway. It is funny though how we can latch on to such differing philosophies. I have been to that website before too. Interesting stuff there, but I don't want to spend all day in front of the computer.

The law took away my neighbor's old lady last night. I guess she got sick of him and pulled out a steak knife. That's her third domestic violence arrest this month. I think the state is going to take her kids. Me and him are grilling out tonight. My old lady got her foodstamps today so we bought some steaks and got a lot of change back to buy some smokes and beer.

I gotta get my truck fixed. I'm getting tired of riding my old lady's daughter's bike to the airport. Maybe we'll get a payraise in '12, it's tough to feed 7 kids and heat/cool a singlewide. I also want to buy some skirting.
Well money has been gettin tight for a few years now. With two of my nine kids graduating prison this year, me an my Bi&%h are gonna downsize. I been working on it for a few months now.

You ought to move out to LA Nerd, you get a lot less trailer for your money. Depends on what part of the city you want to live in but I'm sure your boyz could hook up with some nice young men in a gang nearby.

I think the first 10 pages of this article provide a good overview/perspective on options:

Agreed with the article-they should be used for risk management and not to play Vegas at home. Multiple strategies are the key to diversification. By swinging for singles you ocassionally strike out and ocassionally hit a triple.

No you cannot pick up trips. All you can do is yellow to ALV+15 or max pickup (the same number btw) After that you cannot pick anything up but an IA or a GS. You still are a reserve pilot, and reserve pilots cannot pick up trips out of the Open Time Pot or the Swap Board.

After ALV you will not be shown on the reserve list unless you have a YS in by reducing your RAW 15 pts.

I time out all of the time, and after I you get within two hrs of ALV you are done without a YS in. I will fly as close as I can to ALV+15 and then enjoy a week vacation at the end of each month. It works well, and hope it continues.

As my mother's always said, "there's more than one way to skin a cat." (Not sure where that saying came from?)

To use the baseball analogy, I would say that what I'm doing with the options is more like hitting singles very consistently and almost never striking out. I'm using them simply to create consistent cash flow and manage risk, not to speculate on stock price or option price.

And for tsquare - I spend WAY more time here on APC than I do on managing my accounts!
