When does the bid close for the early out? When will the takers be removed from the seniority list and gone. Hopefully a bunch will jump but I'm not holding my breath.

The window for election is June 1-30, then the first of them are out of here 1 Aug. All gone by December 31.

And I'm guessing 100+

Malware on the Mac: is there cause for concern?

Apple makes me laugh yet again.

My favorite excerpt from the article:

Apple currently instructs specialists to avoid acknowledging the issue

The question is: what is the logic on PD requests...does getting Priority 1 immediately stop the run, or will it look at Priority 2 as well?

Arrrgh!!

I was under the impression you could not pick anything up on a day that showed PD on your schedule. You may want to check into this before you drop them this way. Just don't want you to get stuck with an uber-small paycheck.

I have been wrong before though :D Someone will be along shortly to correct me

I agree, the SOT and ALPA earned a few points back with this LOA. Just missed out on 8 hours of pay due to the 48 hour cutoff for swap with pot trips. Have a crappy three day that I haven't been able to shed all month, right after the last PCS run two days before my trip, two easy high time 4-days show up in open time and nobody can touch them due to the stupid 48 hour rule. Can't wait until we can do next day/same day swaps. Should have been that way for years around here.

You can pick up a trip on a normal PD day but not an APD day.

Looks like someone's impressed by resumes. Guess what, dude could have a Nobel prize on his bookshelf and it doesn't mean he always knows what he's talking about, especially when the orator is inflamed with hate and a good dose of sanctimony.
