No doubt, shoot for 6.5 but I'd still settle for 5+15 min a day. That makes a 4 day worth 21 minimum. Remember I'm talking about paid for duty time, not flight time. Aren't the new FAA regs based on duty time too?

Remember we don't even have 5+15 min day right now. We have it per duty period... hence why quito, a 3-day trip (and many other examples), only pays 10+30 or so.

We need to get "Calendar Day" for those trips. A 3 day trip to Hawaii that gets back into LA on the third day means 3 days of pay, or 15:45. USAir has that. That, along with min of 5:15 per day for vacation and training should be obvious wants for the next contract.

I know there are Hawaii flights from Atlanta on the 330, but also Lagos, Accra, Monrovia (via Accra) etc. You might have to constantly take malerone pills if you are on reserve.

Ttl: Why are you looking at this?
1: Pick any MD-88 B reserve seat you want.
2: MD-88 B is all you can hold.
3. Stop drooling over the seats you cannot hold.

I'll never forget the "monkey burger" I had at the airport in Monrovia when I was flying C-141s. We were starving and went to the airport cafeteria for a quick bite. We ordered "hamburgers" but it turned out later, after we noticed a little gaminess that they were, in fact, monkey meat. Don't recommend it.

That's the only good thing about being number 12,000, you don't ever have to worry about bidding...anything.

Now the number I really want to see is how many and how senior and off what equipment are the "Early Outs" going to come from. End of June before the window closes, right? So we should see those numbers sometime in July. I just hope they post a big bid to to replace them, rather than shrink, to account for the lost manning at the top.
