In other maintenance related observations. The cost to maintain the Airbus products is redonkulous since EADS is not letting anyone make parts for them. The four official suppliers charge something like 10 times the cost of similar Boeing parts. Maintenance says the airlines that ordered the 320 at Paris are replacing other Airbus jets before they have to do heavy maintenance, or are just thinking very short term. FWIW.
