The guy in the yellow is the ultimate definition of "Yeah, I'm just chillin." He had to have flown a DC-9 in a previous life.

It's all good...I'm just happy to be here! ;)

Just curious, does anyone know how to hide your schedule in DBMS so everyone else in the world can't see it?? Thanks!

Can't do it. There was an issue with guys picking up time and blocking their schedules so no one would find out. Union had the company turn it off. Only the FAs can block their schedule.

Actually, the guys with the M-14s look to be the -9 drivers and the kid in the yellow the side-stick twister. :)

Love the guy in the rear with the camera.

Do the FTDT rumors (so far) suggest that intl 24hr SC will be phased out? Or do they convieniently leave that out?

What I remember of the proposed regs is that they no longer differentiate between flag and domsetic operations - they only look at the number of pilots flying. And yes, there were much stricter rules for "short call reserve" even for 3+ pilot crews. From what I saw, 24hr short calls will be a thing of the past.

Can anyone tell me how far in advance you know when you do your recurrent 9 month training? For example, if I am due in Aug, Sep, Oct, when will I find out if it is assigned in Aug?

If you go to DELTANET, click on your airplane then select Simulator Schedules you will see whatever they have programmed so far (do a search for your name). That's the best I can do without knowing the secret handshake.
