Funny they would do that on the 744 as we don't have any domestic trips..... Maybe they do that because the schedulers don't know we don't fly domestic. Heck I got into a discussion a few months back with a scheduler + supervisor and neither knew that the shortest rotation we had at that time was 4 days and 25+ hours.

How about military charters? I know they are probably few and far between, but aren't some of them purely domestic?

I only know of 2 military charters that were purely domestic. Just seems funny the way things are sometimes done around here.....

It is actually the route map of One Lap of America (Cannonball run). It was in May and I just haven't changed my avatar. I keep toying with running in it, as my friends have won it 2 years in a row.

although I guess at the time, int'l and domestic categories were separate. Let's get this fixed.

Not only were they seperate, but the vast majority of the international pushes were at or around the same late afternoon/early evening timeframe. Now the category is truly a 24 hour operation.

Do the FTDT rumors (so far) suggest that intl 24hr SC will be phased out? Or do they convieniently leave that out?

Well that's not many at all. And I agree things are done funny. Seems as if schedulers are always learning.

Is there an easy way to find ATL/73N destinations without having to peruse the entire bidpack ?

You should be able to use the trips filter on PBS to look for specific destinations. Not sure if this only works during the PBS window or all the time.

Oh fun, we're getting the red letter treatment on Drudge for the second time in as many weeks when we got it for supposedly screwing over soldiers.

The way I interpret it, Saudi Arabia has the problem, not Delta. The Rabbi can boycott the Saudi Kingdom and not buy their oil if he chooses. Just my opinion.

What's SWA's policy? Oh, that's right, they don't fly over there.

BTW, I'm switching to the mighty MD-88 since I can't hold the 320 yet in MSP.
