Exactly. Because there are certainly no Embraers on the Frontier certificate.

Federal Aviation Administration - Airline Certificate Information - Detail View

Republic Air Holdings is deploying jets wherever they want.
ALPA seems to be the only ones worried about certificates.

I'm hearing whispers that there may be hope on this issue.
The MEC reps might rise up and finally overrule the administration and the permanent bureaucracy.

NO LAYOVER MEALS WITHHOLDING = per diem for turn arounds with no layover. You have to pay taxes on it.

Speaking of that, I used perdiemcalc.com this year for my per diem calculation on my income tax. Worked great. It's $25... and I think flightline or some other company will do it for $50 and import your schedule? It took me about 45 min to gather my layovers off icrew and put them in. Thought I'd save a few bucks!!

The Flightline product is great as well. Does cost $50 unless you're a first time user and its free.

Does anyone know if our DCI leeches get charged when they deadhead the crews? If not this could/should be a revenue source that dalpa should push for. Almost every flight has a crew acting like they own the place. Taking up overhead space with 2-3 bags, jumping up upon arrival and blocking pad getting their **** together etc. ACL, Slow, what you say?

I think there probably is a fairly generous DCI DH provision simply because mother Delta wants it that way because they are so desperate to diversify their "portfolio" of regional providers to every destination. No DCI carrier would agree to pay DH costs to position crews at the whim of mainline marketing. However there is the issue of abuse for all these little Lorenzy Air Group wannabe virtual carriers with a million certificates doing flying for anyone and everyone. Can a RAH pilot DH on a DL flight even though he is going to (or coming from) UAl flying? Is DL really able to track that reliably and do they care enough to do so?

It's a huge no no for connection carrier pilots to dhd on DL metal to cover other carrier's flying. Any occurrences of that happening need to be reported.

What would be bad for alpa is if, like the TSA screening radiation issue, the APA is out in front of this RAH issue.

A lot of DCI crews just don't care anymore. With things like their boarding priority equal to or lower than a buddy pass for a large fee after using a couple pass travel days during the year, or always getting a middle seat on deadheads, or having mainline move their flying around rapidly resulting in base closures, they don't have as much incentive. It sucks, but that's the way it's setup right now. Way too much outsourcing.

Shouldn't take three different companies to get the potable water filled at an outstation but it does sometimes.
