Enemy;
I am going to make two assumptions based upon what you just wrote: 1. You are an elected union representative. I make this assumption because noone can read section 1 and come to the conclusion you stated above. 2. You do not desire to be re-elected to an LEC position. |

Ya know I was thinking about this. I just read the entire NMB ruling and something popped in to my head.
The "Republic" Certificate is doing Frontier Coded flying. Now to the best of my knowledge there is not CPA(Capacity Purchase Agreement) between Republic and F9 for these 190's to be doing this flying. Therefore, the holding company; RJET, must be the one that determined that Republic (certificate) perform this F9 flying. That sounds like Single Carrier status at the Holding company level to me. :eek: All I know is that after reading this ruling due diligence in this matter is needed. ****** Fresh off the Press-->"""The route will be operated on Frontier’s 37-seat Embraer 135 aircraft and feature continuing service to Ironwood Gogebic-Iron County Airport in Michigan’s upper peninsula. You think I am not in contact with my reps? Ha, I have been for quite some time, and I give them my direction all of the time. I have presented facts with my opinion, and now it is up to them to arrive at a decision.

Somebody earlier asked if RAH will fly anything other than AIrbus/190s for Frontier. Well here you go.

Even if we take Republic to court and the planes go elsewhere to still be flown under Delta colors, I would consider it a win. We need to show Richard Anderson and other Delta management that we are serious about our scope section. Skywest is next in line to do the exact same thing Republic is doing.

That is was my point and something that I know needs to be further looked it to. Is sure appears that the holding company is directing the many certificates to fly branded flying.
BTW that service used to be performed by Midwest Connect. :( Delta needs to pull away from this kind of business. Why should Delta subsidize RAH, while RAH is directly competing with Delta? I checked this morning, Frontier Flights on Airbus go Den-Atl, Den-Msp, Den-Lga, Den-Dtw, Den-Lax, Den-Sea etc.. Mke has a lot of Frontier Flights that compete with our bases too. If competition is the name of the game, then lets keep this pure and have each company compete without subsidy. TEN |
If ALPA just leaves you guys out to dry on this, maybe that will be the end of ALPA at Delta and maybe finally get something things changed in that union, if not the end of it. I'm sure if they don't do anything to protect your scope, the pitch forks and torches will come out.
