So they probably won't need to staff any additional 90's on an AE this year.
What we do with the 88's when we get the 90's depends on what happens the next few quarters. Also, route management want to use one 90 for two RJ's. We will see if they get their wish. Flight Ops is saying one for one currently, but the guys that decide what flies where want something different.

As for what we are going to need staffing wise. No furloughs are planned, but over staffing mitigation techniques are being worked out.

ACL65,

With the market in the toilet, I do not know how eager senior pilots are going to be to punch out of a job.

Edited to protect mi amigo Ferd's sensibilities. Guess we both feel like we have been the Black Angus outside ol' Puerto Rico.

For Mi Amigo Ferd, anyone else seen this video of the Jumbo, Dumbo, landing?

For some reason the crosswind correction just cracks me up.

Thanks your Dudeness, I'm such a sensitive guy.

But, you do have to organize my new and improved "airway manual" now I still can't figure out what I'm supposed to do.

I may be moving home to Phoenix, getting ready for them to move the Asia 75/76 to the west coast somewhere. May see you in SEA

Ferd

PS That and I've just about had it with north Texas weather this spring. The cowboy practice facility is about a mile to 1.5 miles north of me.
