Apparently though, being sick isn't the issue. It's occurrences and other metrics that's driving the program. Which begs the question-- If you are sick and use your sick leave, will you be looked upon by your employer as a problem that warrants more attention? And will that cause you to think twice before making the decision that you aren't fit to fly?
The FAA thinks it will. But if you don't mind flying with a sick co pilot or captain for a few days, then just roll over and let the company have their way with YOUR decision not to fly.
