Be intimidating and unpleasant back to them. If they are going to be a pain in the ass, be a pain in the ass.

Any scheduler that is a PITA to me gets their life made to be just a little bit further into hell. It works!

(edit- don't make it too blatant so as to get in trouble... just make life that much harder for them.)

DPA posts moved... it's a pain in the butt, but let's try to keep that discussion over there.

Because someone else may buy your cow and stop selling you milk.

I guess that's why everyone else left flightinfo where they give you a few days off for Cross-pollination of threads

And yet you can say ANYTHING else. I've probably set Delta pilots back 20 years single handedly on the regional forum, but it is hilarious how gullible they are to obvious trolling.

Ha ha, that's what I was thinking. With our current rate of shrinkage we could easily have zero movement through 2014. We might hire a couple hundred by then, bumping us up maybe 2% while they move up 20%.

I don't care if SEA has grown, or international seatmiles have gone up. We are not hiring, and that means DAL is finding a way to do the same or more flying with the same or less pilots. Our contract has not changed (much), so this loss of flying while others have gained can only be attributed to codeshare, JV, and scope.

I will not believe the ALPA line "Trust me, this is good for Delta pilots" until I see some results that benefit Delta pilots.

The worse part is ALPA gave them permission to do it.

Actions like that just keep the DPA snowball moving downhill. Its the intransigence on the FPL resolutions that get that snowball rolling as opposed to just moving.

Wait until the MEC get the upcoming block representation resolutions. Avalanche.

No, ALPA did not. The company does not need permission to do what they are doing. However, I encourage ANYONE who gets one of these calls to document everything, & then pass it on to their respective Rep.

Yes, this is the only reason. So far, it's not an issue. My point is as things stand now, there is no reason to buy AS.
