Also a part of LOA 29, the SOT (Scheduling Optimization LOA) It also brought about new reserves required computations; allowing better swapping ability for line holders, CQ bidding, and a ton of other things.

Depends on how long your application process, hiring, and training takes at Alaska! (Oh, you were asking, assuming you stay at Delta?):D

Is there any way to pick up out-of-base open time for Sep? I just looked at another base and saw 7 trips for 29 Sep that are all better than what I have, and would love to somehow swap...
Just read the PWA and the TWG papers on PCS, Open Time, and swaps... I THINK the answer is "NO", can only white-slip out of base for same-day or next-day. But thought I'd check here if there was a way to pilot-swap-board it or something? Thx |

Bump. When I look at the swap board I keep thinking this might be possible, since it says "category" but not base? Come on Buzzpat, we could work something out! ;)

1. Dirty old men on the internet. 2. That just looks way too dangerous. I think you're safer playing football... which is about as healthy as a car crash. |

Then why was I launched on SC with two hours to report to LAX during rush hour to DH in the middle seat of a 757 to JFK to fly a NYC originating 4-day rotation?:D:rolleyes:
Gotten out of a few nasties where they wanted something less than 2 hours for me to do something crazy for a weird deadhead to get them out of a bind. "So when do you think I'm going to be there??" I am not crew scheduling's lack of planning! |

That's when you tell them "I get there when I get there..."
