I do not care about a specific percentage increase in hourly pay. I care about a 50% increase in overall compensation package.

It's a crappy deal when your average LEO makes more and has a retirement worth twice that (50% at 20 with 3%/yr after that). We are the only group of professionals where thousands apply and a few hundred may get hired, yet we can't figure out or negotiate a legitimate compensation scheme. Seriously, a Laguna Beach lifeguard Captain makes more than a Delta 737 Captain...

What is your minimum requirement for an increase to your W-2, i.e. take home pay?
