Also, another rumor floating around the training center is that we are merging with Hawaiian.

What I think is REALLY sad is that it probably will come down to money. If Pujols stays in St Louis, when he retires they will build another bronze statue right next to Stan the Man's... How much would a guy have to be paid for THAT kind of immortality? Especially in a town that adores it's baseball team. Or I guess he could go be just another Yankee or Red Sock... I know that today's athlete looks at how much the other guy makes... but when you have $100 million in the bank.. Personally, I'd take the statue.. but I'm not always about the money.

Those of you senior to me need not read this. The plane yells at you in a french accent and is SCARY because you're never really in control. ;)

I will never get in your way.

I heard a big rumor about CVG from an airport employee (not a DAL employee). Apparently someone is renovating some old gates there. They believe it is SWA. Anyone else here the same?

Concourse A was/is slated for renovation and will replace Terminal 2.

Yeah right so let's push it off for a few more years and then try and hire well over 1000 a year? Not buying it. Sounds like a case of self induced staffing crisis where the company "needs" scope relief to outsource more. Oh and maybe PRP's! Yay!

Well, I guess if there were enough O&D traffic out of there, DAL would not be pulling back. Maybe SWA can find some table scraps, but I am glad to see them spending money there.. (if true) I always liked CVG, and I hate to see us leave too, but the bottom line is the bottom line.

I completely agree. From a technology, workload and comfort standpoint the 320 is WAAAY better. Plus it has a tray table and you can actually fit into the cockpit.

I'd personally love to see Delta order a bunch of Airbus airplanes but I'm not holding my breath.

More or just the same number only sooner? And what if AA doesn't default on theirs?

Either way I could see sooner, and that's fine. The fleet would get newer and more efficient sooner but other than a little more training bubble, it seems like it would be capacity neutral anyway.

Fill out your Surveys!

I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir on here, but fill 'em out!

Tell the guys you're flying with to get them done. Survey closes tomorrow at noon and we all need to make it known that our expectations have NOT been managed downwards!
