I'm curious what percentage of those who have not done the survey are complacent and what percentage believe the union is going to do what the union is going to do, no matter what the survey says?
Some of the apologist super human studs could probably tell you. Survey data receives a regression analysis against both the opinions of Bastian and Moak. Those within a given standard deviation receive an alpa pin. Those outside of the statistically significant ring are photographed and their hats' are stolen. |

Of note to me...ONLY 4300 pilots out of 11,xxx plus filled out the scheduling survey! What's that say about complacency and the ongoing union survey?

SWA has been in DTW for years without causing NWA/Delta much trouble. I certainly wouldn't scoff them in ATL, but I don't think we have to fear them either. I'm sure RA and they boys will welcome them appropriately. |

ATL-DFW in a 747? I can see the DFW commuters now...
http://giveattentiontoreading.com/wo.../02/praise.jpg Wonder how many ate saying "well, I've been wanting to move back..." Although you've lost your mind to say that. That said, AMR flirts with chapter 11 and we come in strutting our best stuff? Plus adding 744s! |

I think you're right. See ATL-PHF was a FL only route for years and now mostly just 88s. And now ATL-CAK, which was FL/RJs before and now has 88s.
The point should be the 88 takes back RJ flying and gives up te 737 and 757 replacement flying it was doing. The news releases of "new" routes (to be flown by 70 seat RJ's) have gotten pretty old. :D |
It's Friday.

Well, if our quarterly CQ CDs are an indicator, I think it says 6,700 pilots will be doing it on October 23.:D

Sounds about right. CQ bidding was not too bad. I got a late period in the week I wanted. I am not sure if I guessed correctly or just got lucky. As for that CD, well I think I will get to it some time next month, after I take care of looking for a business to buy, pass a check ride, and go on vacation! :D |
