*Forget to Bid Speaking of which, I signed up for the crew auto notification program and have never had a notification. I show as signed up and my info is correct. Anyone have a similar problem / fix? The company system only sends notifications of reroutes, irops, etc. Very infrequent. (if ever) The union system is the one that sends the regular monthly reminders about bidding. I forget how I signed up for the bidding reminders but I get them every month. Works good. The texts come from "dalcomm.alpa.org" Maybe someone else can direct you to that dalcomm sign-up page. |

Not sure but I think there is more than one notification system.

I did not know there were 2 separate systems. Thanks. Apparently that was the missing piece. |

Go to the DAL MEC site, then under the Committees Tab select P2P. When you reach the Pilot to Pilot page, look on the right-hand side for an icon that says "PilotBlast". There you can sign up for the nifty reminders. As others have said, it works really well. Now you'll have no excuse if you FTB |

Yes, there are two, the one you want for bidding notifications is the DALPA "Pilot Blast", I think there is a link on the DALPA web site where you can sign up. Then there is the Company notification system for irops and Re-routes! You might -not- want to be notified with that system! But if you do, it's on the DLNET page. |

"Daily departures will fall about 13 percent to 175 as some smaller markets are cut, he said. " "AirTran yields a certain revenue per mile flown, and Southwest gets a premium to that.” So SWA has revealed that their major plans for ATL is to cut flights 13% !! and to raise fares. Brilliant! How will we ever compete? TIC |

IAG Launches Iberia Express | AVIATION WEEK
"The airline will start operations in the summer of 2012 and will initially fly four Airbus A320s. The fleet will increase to 13 units by the end of next year. The aircraft will all come from Iberia’s current fleet" "The decision is likely to cause union opposition, as aircraft are taken away from Iberia’s mainline fleet to be operated by pilots at lower wages." A friendly reminder from our friends across the pond, management teams will scope out your Airbus fleet given the chance. Every contract starts with section 1. |

PBS Notepad 34
Guys,
Did any of you actually fully comprehend the latest PBS E-mail??? I thought I might actually be able to get by with only a minor in PBS, but now realize that I must go back to school and update my education. Anyone have a good recommendation on a school that offers a major (BS) in PBS, or do you guys think I should just flat out go straight for a masters? Scoop :) |
What are our bag fees for customers? Is it that the first one is free, pay $$ for each one after that?
