I thought I might actually be able to get by with only a minor in PBS, but now realize that I must go back to school and update my education.

Anyone have a good recommendation on a school that offers a major (BS) in PBS, or do you guys think I should just flat out go straight for a masters?

Scoop :)

Go for the masters. Then you can turn around and be a professor to supplement your income until we get our huge pay raises. :D

Because it's the same small handful of guys saying the same thing over and over, whether here or on the DALPA forum. Are you saying that these handful truly represent the majority?

"Daily departures will fall about 13 percent to 175 as some smaller markets are cut, he said. "

"AirTran yields a certain revenue per mile flown, and Southwest gets a premium to that.”

So SWA has revealed that their major plans for ATL is to cut flights 13% !! and to raise fares. Brilliant! How will we ever compete? TIC

That's what we all thought they'd do, the only person shocked right now is Clark Howard.

Again there is a whole lot of good over SWA acquiring AirTran, not to mention pay rate comparisons right as we enter section 6.

The agree or liquidate stunt I hope falls to the floor faster than Clark Howard does.

All I'm saying is you have no idea if someone who speaks up represents the minority and I find it odd that you quickly blow them off. That's all.

Ha ha. What do you think this is, Southwest? 0 free bags unless you have the credit card.

18 has been my target for a long time. This stupid economic melt down has been playing havoc with me off loading my investments! :D

Made good money this week on the AMR fear as well!

That is a one way to pay it. If we were not discussing an alternate union, there are many on here like myself that are very open to change that would be willing to debate what we should change. We just choose not to shoot inside the circle when trying to get rid of ALPA.

If you haven't read it there is a "Crew Resources Monthly Update November 2011 " on the crew resources and scheduling section of Deltanet.
Of note to me...ONLY 4300 pilots out of 11,xxx plus filled out the scheduling survey! What's that say about complacency and the ongoing union survey?
MEM DC9 is closing on the NOV. AE.
Lots of added charter flying for the 330 and 744
There really is a domestic turn on the 744 ATL-DFW and ATL-LAX

I'm curious what percentage of those who have not done the survey are complacent and what percentage believe the union is going to do what the union is going to do, no matter what the survey says?
