No, what I was getting at was the comment someone made about the same handful of rabid DALPAites who constantly post on the DALPA forum. I was just equating them to the same handful of rabid DPAers who constantly post here.

So, how am I to interpret your statement? If you believe the same few DPAers who post here represent the majority of the DAL pilots, then couldn't the same argument be made about the DALPAites?

Personally, I have trouble with ALPA and DPA. And I don't like the fact that if I disagree with one of their fanboys, then I get a lecture on how I'm either an idiot for not seeing their blinding logic, or a blind follower of the rhetoric of the other side.

My opinion? The well is poisoned at both camps. I don't have faith or trust in either. You may disagree with that statement. That is your prerogative.

I agree with what you are saying. I have no idea who the vocal minority is, may be the DPAers or the ALPAites.

Ha. I was wrong again. I thought they got the first one free. :)

Does anyone know what hotel crews stay at in Seattle and if they give the crew rate for personal stays?

That's what we all thought they'd do, the only person shocked right now is Clark Howard.

Again there is a whole lot of good over SWA acquiring AirTran, not to mention pay rate comparisons right as we enter section 6.

The agree or liquidate stunt I hope falls to the floor faster than Clark Howard does.

Seems like DAL might have to expand a little in Atlanta to make up for the void being left by Air Tran in some markets. :D

Maybe just up gauge with bigger jets.:)

DAL has shown LUV that they can compete with them and it a hub. SLC and MSP are two very glaring examples of this.

I think you're right. See ATL-PHF was a FL only route for years and now mostly just 88s. And now ATL-CAK, which was FL/RJs before and now has 88s.

The point should be the 88 takes back RJ flying and gives up te 737 and 757 replacement flying it was doing.
