Maybe there is a computer/pcs problem. I tried to do a swap with pot...4 day for 4day over the exact same dates. Denied after 2pcs runs for " does not meet contractual time limits " two schedulers and one supv. Couldn't figure it out. Oh and it was 3days in advance.

Oh I have hear it. A DCI would buy F9 first though. From what I gather BB is trying to spin them off.

There was a grievance on it. Probably did not want it to go to arbitration and have a few things codified by an arbitrator.

Oh I still like the idea of LGBP, but it would never pass. This is the next best thing. See?! I can be reasonable. But only 2 categories... WB.. NB.. no super duper premium nonsense unless we get about 50 of 'em.. then it might make some sense.

I like the idea at first glance, but it would inevitably lead to people flying when they should have called in sick.

I like the idea. I don't see how it would be any different than being able to keep it in a sick bank for year after year.

However, two main points:

The company will argue that the sick time is an insurance policy and not something you can turn into cash.

The company has never gone for being able to keep sick time then sell it back prior to retirement.

But, as I said, I like the idea. I've always liked the idea of taking some (or all) of your sick bank and either selling it for cash or time (terminal leave) prior to retirement.
