While a valid point to keep our eyes on come C12K time, all narrowbody rates will soon exceed SWA rates anyway, with appropriate premiums on top of that for larger than 737-700 aircraft anyway.

Do you know something we don't know? And... to compare apples to apples, we need to look beyond rates and look at the end result, i.e. W-2. Unless I'm really missing something, our narrowbody pilots are nowhere close to making what SWA pilots make. Unless you want to compare SWA First Officers with Delta narrowbody Captains. Then it's pretty close.

The more I think about it, with the size and diversity of the fleet we have, a WB/NB payscale makes more sense. I couldn't really sell the longevity idea.. so this is the next best thing... Then we work on a way to maximize those W2s without having to sacrifice that QOL..

A321 is not in our tables yet......
I will throw up if we end up buying Frontier....I hope we can get those NEOs without purchasing Frontier.

Frontier doesn't operate 321's.

They have 318's, 319's, and 320's, and only 6 more 320's on order.

No need to buy another airline, if we want planes I'm sure we will get planes...

Somebody on this thread mentioned Frontier is owned by RAH (Republic). Republic does some of our flying for us, correct?

Republic also made an announcement for a WHOLE BUNCH of AIrbus NEOs (Domestic Launch Customer). Bryan Bedford the CEO of RAH is a very shrewd business man and has a horrible relationship with his employees (go read the threads, he is very much compared to Ornstein, Risely and Lorenzo). He has deep pockets and connections. Somehow he is able to run a nearly defunct carrier with not-so-much money. Also he his able to BUY a BUNCH of NEW AIRCRAFT with not- so -much money.. Kinda putting two together, you know.

Are the Frontier guys ALPA? Why do they keep on giving concessions or give-backs to a SHREWD and UNTRUSTWORTHY MNGR LIKE BEDFORD?

It really does make a lot of sense.

Except 777's should pay more than everything!!! (except the super premium, ultra senior, king of the frikkin hill, brass band meets them at the gate, special uniform with band leader hat and WW1 german epaulets, 747).
