And for those counting, three SAS MD-90's showed up in VCV over the last few days. ( they have N numbers)
2 Hello with a third later this year and these three now have our running total to six. Five on property. |

Pay, Benefits, etc.

Nothing that is not covered under a NDA. They are still negotiating it.

What is the latest talk on when they will come out of VCV? I've been hearing that they will stay in VCV until Sep 2010 and that for every 90 that comes out of VCV an 88 will go in. Also hearing they are going to configure them with 160 seats. They will have no galley in the back and the flight deck closet will disappear to accomodate carts in the front galley.
Depends on the economy. Some say one for one, but the route guys want to replace 2 50 seaters with one 90. In effect I still think it is up in the air. I am hearing more of them being growth then I am hearing of them being swapped out. |
I've heard early 2010 for the 90's coming out of vcv. I guess there's some work to do on them and no real hurry to do it.

160 seats would make them a good substitute for 737-800s. That makes sense operationally and allows great fleet flexibility during IROPS.
