Delta was able to add another day to the month of Sep to accommodate CQ bidding! Welcome Sep 31 to the calendar!
Now SWA pilots won't make more than Delta pilots for the month of September. |

Be careful with that. At my old airline we had a pilot who was sued for pushing a wheelchair. Pilots are not trained to push wheelchairs.
Crazy, but true story. |

This sounds eerily familiar. We're only supposed to get a 3% raise and we used to be the highest paid and home of the pension. No expectations and lots to celebrate as everyone strives to be what you just did. Anything better than that and it will be a fantastic year.
If our section 6 is like the Auburn game, here's what's going to happen. Delta announces no 100 seat replacement, over staffed, economy bad, FAA announces that all Boeing 757s are grounded pending further maintenance and we have a loss. LM writes in ALPA magazine that Delta pilots are screwed, need to give up on scope and take pay cuts and give back their 401ks. We're screwed. Right up until Sailingfun comes in and says, guys, shut up about all your "we're going to be furloughed" crap. Get behind me and do as I say and stop talking about the 717s because you're going to screw this up. Sailing goes in and removes the LEC reps. LM apologizes. Negotiating committee runs for cover. Delta and ALPA come out with a TA. SWA pay for the 88 and adjusted accordingly, all SWA plus ever 717 made goes to DAL, all Saudi 90s are acquired, Delta announces no further 100 seat order as money is diverted to 100 762 domestic order... all growth. Pilots confused. Sailing carried off the field by Carl and FTB. http://sflchronicle.com/wp-content/u...ld-300x234.jpg Newk, nods in approval. That was the Auburn game. |
