On another note heard on CNBC that UniCal will stop honoring Amex Membership Miles after 30 Sept 11. That will leave Delta as the only US airline that will redeem Membership Miles.
What's the best mobile phone app for checking airline flights? I'm looking for something that lists ALL flights (SWA, Delta, USAir etc.) between city pairs, ordered by time, so I can land and figure out what I've got for commute flights.
In the past I used the OAG version (10 years ago), but now it's only "online"--I really want one that is periodically updated and the data lives on my phone, so I can look at it without web access when needed.
Anyone have experience with the current OAG mobile app, or other good suggestions? Don't want to browse to all the airline's pages....
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure AA honors those miles too.

I think with regard to trip parking, the way to look at it is: Is trip parking illegal concerted activity?
The company looks the other way because it is not expensive and may save manpower. DALPA, initially vocal about it, seems silent. Is it because it has not affected jobs? Yet?
Turn the tables. If a whole small category got together (but only acted as onesy and twosy) and had a sickout/ greenslip campaign in which one person said to another "If you sick out, I will greenslip your trip." Then multiply this across the entire small category where this happened with everyone.
Would the company be up in arms? Would DALPA have to take action? Is there REALLY a difference between trip parking and sickout/greenslip? (beside the pay for trip.)
Just asking, not advocating.

Yeah that's it flood the low yield skymiles redemption routes. That's where aaaaaall the money is. lol! Bring it. We still have a massive network advantage and can compete VERY well against them. Their days of sniping any route they want are over.

Donald Carty was the guest commentator on that segment and he said AA originally offered AmEx a deal for frequent flier branding and AmEx turned it down. Think he was talking about an A branded AmEx card though. I'll have to look at my AmEx bennies to see which airlines allow a transfer of Membership Miles into FF miles.
