I'm really not interested in going down this road on this forum. I'm a slow typist and not a great teacher. Yes there is risk as with everything in life. Last year I did a little less than 105%. This year I am on target to double that.
As to gloom and doom? Please help me see how the demographics are able to support the debt loads (I mean the real debt loads, not the short term ones). Go ahead and keep your head, I dont care.

Yes, it means something in the schedule was corrupted. call your scheduler, and they can have somebody in IT fix it... this happened to me and went on for the entire weekend before somebody fixed it.

So I have a line next month. How do I trade trips? Is this done through whiteslips? I've never held a line before. I was trying to play in ICREW, but it won't let me do anything as a reserve. The October schedules are not released yet. I'm going to want to swap some trips for commutable ones. I'm working weekends so I figure something will be in open time.

They won't put the Oct. line awards into DBMS until the 16th or 17th, then you can see what's in open time (or look at the bottom of your wide report and see what's 'open') and then you can load up your best wishes into the PCS page, be sure you click on OCT or you will be doing it for Sept, which, as a reserve, you cannot.
But what you can do today is get familiar with the PCS page, trip parameters, ie. 'no all nighters' etc. so when you do it for real, you'll have some idea of what boxes there are to check.
If you want to swap trips, there is a page for swaps, if you only want to pick up trips, (white slip) there is a separate page for that.
You'll have to shoot yourself in the foot a few times before you learn how to do it right...don't ask me how I know.
