Don't give us your thoughts based on your experience, give us your thoughts based on our BS contract comparison that lied about SWA's contract and didn't even include our foreign direct competitors that pay much more.

DALPA is so predictable, it's shocking.

This ^^^^

Additionally, was it or was it not promised to have a comparison to our Sky Team partners Air France, KLM, etc. PRIOR to having the survey?

I remember the quote from ACL somewhere along the lines of "they are busy translating it but it takes time."

Remember THIS. Those that are on FPL at 92 hours a month on the HIGHEST seat they can HOLD, plus an additional $1000.00 a month stipend have not had a put cut in effect. What were the max and min guarantee again this month and next? Finally, THEY are paid by Delta.

This has been noted before in history, You used to have the "help" that worked in the fields and those that worked in the house. The ones that worked in the house had obvious benefits above those that worked in the fields. No one that worked in the house would want to upset the apple cart. They would use whatever influence necessary to keep status quo.

Sound familiar??

Hence, DALPA's actions.

#27 on the survey:

I request the DAL MEC pursue a 20% reduction in allowable regional carrier airframes that are capable of, or currently contain, 70 or more seats to be completed within no later than two years from the date of signing of our next contract.

If ALPA can even legally ask for that without being sued by other ALPA DCI carriers... We will see!

When did this survey come out? Is it for everyone to take or just sent to people at random.
I looked for it on the ALPA but could not find it.

Thanks

Why the pansy, lacy waist, nut less "request." Instead of something arbitrary, why not something based on sound principle ... like

In order to restore unity, provide for career protection, advancement, opportunity and the growth of Delta Air Lines, I demand my union's stated goal be that ALL Delta flying be performed by Delta pilots. Joint Ventures and code shares will be submitted individually to the MEC and open to membership ratification, but in no case will Delta allow operations where the Delta seats on any flight exceed 50% of that flights total passenger load and Delta pilots operate at least 50% of the code share flying. ANY NEW FLIGHT OPERATIONS UNDERTAKEN BY DELTA, a parent corporate structure which includes Delta Airlines, any successor Company, or any subsidiary, or affiliate, WILL BE FLOWN BY DELTA PILOTS.

Be sure our legal experts at ALPA include the official definitions of:

Reduction?
Allowable?
Regional?
Carrier?
Capable?
Currently?
Seats?

And does two years mean 24 months, or 730 days, or two full years in addition to the year in which the new contract is signed?
