Also, glad if Auburn lost to Clemson it's in a Clemson up year.

Do'h, Buzz, you and my brother in Salem VA can sulk at that score.

Still think Wis is headed to the NC. Would love to see a replay of what happened with SMU/TCU and ARK/A&M. And the 4th quarter of the GT/NCST game, what the heck? 45 points in 1 quarter?

Oh and... let's see... something Delta related... oh I know, I LOVE BIDDING FOR TRAINING!!!! GOT WHAT I WANTED. Wow. So cool.

But for whoever might be in the know, why are bid results called WIDE reports? What does the WIDE mean?

I think it's time for bed. The UA/FL game won't be all that interesting after all with FL's QB out.

Wait a minute... neatest punt penalty fiasco I've ever seen!

FYI:

DELTA MASTER EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
August 14 - 20, 2011
Washington, DC

AGENDA ITEM # AI 11-141A COMMITTEE # 2

MAKER: ***** SECOND: *****

MOTION # VOTE: Passed

WHEREAS the Delta MEC is currently preparing for Section Six negotiations, and

WHEREAS the Delta MEC will use all tools available and give careful consideration to pilot input in the crafting of the Delta pilots’ position as it relates to the protection of and improvement of pay, working conditions, job security, benefits and retirement.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the issues contained in resolution 11-141, No Scope Relief, will be considered, evaluated & discussed by the Delta MEC during Section 6 negotiations.

DELEGATE COMMITTEE VOTE: 8 - 1

Alpa > Alpa Login

If you go to the communications page of the DAL.ALPA.ORG site you will see on the left hand side a icon for all MEC Resolutions. They have them from the last four meetings.

Also if you wanted to find out who was on what committee, send a request to the Sec of the MEC, he has records of all of these Drafting Committees and their makeups. I also believe that they have a record on who voted what way. That should be available to the membership.

That's very good. Great would've been 9-0, curious about the -1.

But this is also like saying there will be no pay cuts in the next contract.

This is nothing more than the expected starting point, but it is good to see even if it is the minimum expected.
