Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Hey, I've got an idea guys....how about we stage an "Occupy Virginia Avenue" movement until we get what we want on this contract?

Ferd can bring the beer, Carl can be the dude with the microphone, I'll draw up the signs, FTB can be the big union guy enforcer that keeps people away from Carl, Clamp is in charge of port-a-potties and cheerleaders, Jesse can help out with the cheerleaders, T will be our media spokesperson firing off snarky comments when asked about what we stand for.......I'm sure there are hundreds of other positions that you guys can come up with.

Whaddya think?

A few suggestions:

A) I'd like to swap cheerleading management jobs with Clamp.

B) Do we have to stay in tents? This is VA Avenue after all. I mean all of those kids at Occupy Wall Street are having their Iphones and $5500 Mac Book Pro's stolen and they're quite upset about having stuff taken from them without permission. :D

C) I'd like to swap cheerleading management jobs with Clamp.

D) Let's not start today. It's like 40F and strong winds here today.

E) And I want a hammock.

F) Carl might also want a microphone...

Screw the tents. I'll be on the forbidden 4th floor of the training center. Thats where all the new-hire flight attendants stay.

Well the AF KLM contract comparison is out...

Not exactly what TO'M said we would be getting at the PTC roadshow.

This is just embarrassingly sad.

BigGuns has it right. Spirit was a freebie. No disruption to the national travel infrastructure. A Delta shutdown would be a whole different ball game.

Plus ALPA did a good job at the things I mentioned before. They came prepared with all the E&FA numbers and convinced the NMB that the pilots were being reasonable and it was management that needed a little extra motivation to cut a deal.

I agree, and am disappointed that our JV partners will not allow it.

I say for argument's sake, up your percentage by at least 20%.

How about that bridge over VA Avenue connecting the training centers and 4th floor. It's wide.
