Oh, and before you foist any more kool-aid on me, let me return the favor and offer you an unsolicited lecture: The clothes weren't invisible--the emperor was naked.

I was gonna look up what reticence means but I'm too lazy.;)

Resolution 12-01 Humpday Honeys

Whereas today:
  • SWA gets perfect scope and a pile of new efficient jets
  • American gets EFB's
  • and we get nothing but a CEO who wants a pump and dump consolidation crapsandwich deal
  • and Fridays are known for hooning on APC with little Mod interference
Be it resolved:

Wednesdays should hereafter be known as "humpday" and those under utilized, under paid and under employed reserve pilots will avail themselves to searching to the edge of the internet for delicious honeys to ponder and distract us as our career slowly circles the porcelain.

So moved by the Right Reverend, Bucking Bar, Esq. Do I have a second?

Twins are not required, but encouraged none the less:

T,

That's old news (greater than 24 hours). Heard a rumor today that if Gus didn't take the job, our O-line coach (Grimes) was next in line. Seems Gus was OCD and PO'd a bunch of his offensive coaches. ESPN PTI was wondering why Gus even looked at the job.

MIA makes the most sense. It's a top 6 O&D market, a springboard for SA, which they say they want to more of, and they can co-domicile with FLL and PBI

The only problem with this, from my perspective, is that it'd go so senior, I couldnt hold reserve driving the biffy truck.

Nu

Do you already live in south Florida or do you want to move to south Florida? That would be a real kick in the nuts. Opening a base in your backyard, then it going too senior to hold it.

No, what we're up against is a bunch of divisive naysayers whose default position is that the sky is falling and we're all screwed.

Let me offer you an unsolicited lecture: there is no emperor. There is a large airline corporation and a 12,000 strong pilot group. If we paint ourselves as you would have us paint ourselves, we'll come across as a bunch of whiny *****es.

Delta wants to sell more than just flights
By Kelly Yamanouchi
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Delta Air Lines doesn’t want to be just an airline anymore.

It also envisions itself as a retailer, selling extra services for flights through a virtual cash register at your airplane seat and a digital storefront when you book a flight on the airline's website.

What's more, the carrier sees a big opportunity to sell advertising targeting the captive audience of travelers on planes.

For passengers, that could mean an onslaught of sales pitches and advertising throughout the travel experience.
