All this talk of leaves has got me thinking. If we were to get a leave for say a year, what if any benefits do we get to keep? Right now, I'm not sure why you would take a leave because you can basically PD anything you want and it works out fine. However, it may be easier just to take a leave if you could keep health and travel benefits and send in a check each month for the premiums.

Would it be bad form to start handing out copies of this to the cat ranchers?

While out flying over Thanksgiving, YOUNG PEOPLE were observed wearing Delta uniforms (did not know they existed outside of NYC and the Asian FA base). So as a public service, and an undergrad Econ major, I offer this sage bit of advice:

That's the difficult decision with leave. Stay here, do nothing, make some money. Go somewhere else, work hard, make a bit more money. ... of course it says a lot about the inefficiency of Delta's shrinkage that we are having this discussion. The inverse logic is because most of us are pilots because we like to fly. In other words, many of us are happier hen flying (with all due respect to those who wrestle the MD products in between unscheduled maintenance). |

Edit... I don't think those boots would give her a lot of traction in an ATL snow event. |
