DALPA has their panties in a wad. The results of the survey came out with a 30% pay increase average. (I put 99%, how many people did it take to lower my number?) It seems that DALPA is all unglued that they may have to actually do some work at the negotiating table. They were expecting to deliver 10% and declare a victory. Now they actually have to do something or lose their FPL.

I'm going to ask Tebow to pray for us.

The girls have their helmets. Do you have yours?

There, all bases covered.

If you want to talk beer, you have to include belgium (lotsa great beers, I am kind of a trappist fan) Czech republic (pilsener uruquel - the 1st and still the best) Hungary (dreher). Wine Argentina the malbec especially from the zucchardi vinyard (nectar), Italy yum, Hungary - get an invite to anyones country house, they all make their own wine plus anything from the eger region (IMO thummerer is best).

Food Argentina - best steak you'll ever eat - melt in your mouth.
Italy - any alley restaurant where the cook's upper arms hang and wobble (she tastes everything she cooks)
Panama - great seafood (crappy beer)
Germany for octoberfest - great beer and great beer drinker food.

Old gas guzzlers hauling light loads is never good for long term viability. With the Tsunami and loads in/out of Tokyo off, I'm surprised they haven't started parking them already. They did not replace the early outs off of it, and there were some displacements off it in the last bid though...so...you do the math on that one.

What would be the most profitable route in the system Mr. Timbo since you seem to know all?????

I've always done Connoll's (off Madison on 47th) when at the Roosevelt. Standard paux Irish Bar.

Anywhere in Little Italy when in SFO, too many great little places to name.....not that I would know that.

I'll add South Park in PDX, great little wine bar (with Jack & a few local beers) a couple of blocks from the Hilton.

AND........of course Godfather's Bar on Saipan. Hope to see it again someday :-(

The Blarney Stone on 3rd Ave at 45th Street. About 25 beers on tap for $5.00 for a 23 ouncer. There is a Haufbrua Haus upstairs.

That's what I figured you meant. Thanks for clarifying. :)

We would have to be down at least 20% for next summer for them to consider any larger leave programs than an early out. From all of the projections they have made, 2013 should leave us quite short. Sooner if a few things happen.

Opps.......yes, forgot the Blarney Stone, went there several times when we stayed at the UN Plaza. Great little bar for a chain place.

If that were "true" and 30 was the min hourly increase, yes, there is work to do. Frankly I would be surprised if it was not more.

And remember, that just pay rates. I personally have a lot of other things that will improve our pay:

1. Improved rigs - especially 6.0 Hr/calendar day.
2. Higher % in our DC - mine was up to 20%
3. Better Per Diem
4. More credit for training and vacation

That's just a few off the top of my head. So, the 30% is just a min starter for improving our pay and benefits.

If at the Gulfport/Biloxi overnight, I do highly recommend the Krispy Kreme. If the hot donut light is on, you've just go to go. Those things will disintegrate in your mouth.

DAMN THAT LIGHT!

Also, when I get one of em' big city overnights, like New York City, I like to go to Michael Scotts favorite pizza joint...

It's too bad you can't find that good of a pizza everywhere! And the price!? Oh man.

:D
