Here you go Bill. On second thought, since ACL earned an infraction for lizards doing it, there's no telling what I might get for Bill in nightmare action.

I think 4 of 5 didn't pass with the memory stick only (no extra LOD or Vol II) study. The 5th guy was still taking the test when I left so I don't know how he did.
Do we know what the pass rate is for the A320 guys on the eVal? (PM me if you've heard). I assume the majority of the two coursed are identical?
The GOOD news is, we take the test on day 2. So, I'm hoping for lots of foot stomps from the A320 experiences

Hey Ferd, I am just finishing OE on the 320. As for the foot stomps in the first couple of days, absent. As for the thumb drive "do it yourself" training. There is core curriculum that is required before arriving at class. That's all the company says you need to do. As a result, that's all they pay us for ( 4:15 for the training.). If all you do is the core material, prepare to fail. Also on the thumb drive is supplemental information. That is the real meat of the systems training. Unfortunately, it takes about twice as long as the core material, and you do it for free while flying a full schedule on your current aircraft. So, plan about 30 hours and get ready for that 4:15 pay. The LOD, which is new to North guys, contains all the info that will be on the test. The test starts out about 160 questions, if you begin to miss some it will add more questions. The ati's told me it would max out about 250 questions. Being an over achiever, I missed answered 160. Hope that helps.

In addition to this board, call your Rep, or the main DALPA office if it is a time critical issue.

Yup, slugg'en through the LOD with the VOL II Controls and indicators section on the o'l iPad. Slow going but I also got the "what's it doing now" game in the LMS working and that is helping.
I'll be ready, but the company's position that the memory stick course is enough to pass the test is BS.

I talked to an A330 instructor when I was doing the runtime test and was told that they ALSO took 4 academic classes/fixed based sims out of the course when we went to this home study. WE are saving them a boatload!

Maybe it's time to get a new union then? I mean it seems this course is not being paid it's contractual value. If the union approved something less than our contract, maybe we are not being properly represented? The 3 to 1 training pay is crap as is.
