Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
* Subtract 55% for taxes.
* Subtract 35% for ALPA dues
* Subtract 20% for DPA dues
* Subtract 10% for accounting fees.
* Subtract 10% for lawyer fees.
So, the answer is nothing.
*If your wife knows about it, you will come out in the red for sure. But, you will have a nice new couch to sit on.

How protected are they if Kelly decided to take AMR's place in OneWorld? Would SWAPA even have to be consulted given their current section one language? Is that a little short sighed given the fact that they are effectively maxed out in the domestic markets?
Lets see how SWAPA can deal with these issues. Labor peace and happiness is important to Kelly but to what extent? These questions above are ones that will test the very fiber of that relationship.

2. Domestic Codeshare
Southwest Airlines will not enter into a domestic Codeshare Agreement within the fifty (50)
United States without the agreement of the Association.
5. Other Codeshare
The Company will not enter into any other Codeshare and/or Marketing Agreement (to
include far international Codeshare flying) unless expressly delineated above, without the
agreement of the Association.
“Codeshare Agreement” or “Marketing Agreement” means flying performed by another carrier
whereby the other carrier transports passengers and/or cargo pursuant to a code-share, marketing,
interline, joint venture, pro-rate, alliance or any other agreement or arrangement whereby another
carrier uses the Company’s designator codes or operates aircraft with the Company’s name, trade
name, logo, trade marks or service marks thereon or otherwise holds out to the public that the
Company or its Affiliate is performing or is otherwise associated with the flying.
Hold on a minute, just because DL doesn't have it doesn't mean it's a POS...I have read writeups on sites such as flyertalk about passengers now trying to book themselves on a 380 given a choice when it's convenient...after riding on it myself I must agree -- it is superior to everything else out there. Only the 787 might be able to compete in terms of cabin comfort.
DL needs to order some, or some 747-800s!

Well I would certainly hope not. But the real question is exactly how much higher are your expectations? If you're going to compare us to all the other carriers with bankruptcy contracts and minimize the comparison with SWA (our biggest competitor in our biggest hub), then that sounds like expectations of a pretty small pay increase. At least you're being consistent with all the official DALPA contract communications we've been getting.
