Once they get the autopilot figured out and can do it without having to step outside in the weather.

So Air Force researchers were delighted recently to learn that they could cut training time in half by delivering a mild electrical current (two milliamperes of direct current for 30 minutes) to pilot's brains during training sessions on video simulators. The current is delivered through EEG (electroencephalographic) electrodes placed on the scalp. Biomedical engineer Andy McKinley and colleagues at the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright–Patterson Air Force Base, reported their finding on this so-called transcranial direct current stimulation (TDCS) here at the Society for Neuroscience annual meeting on November 13.
With the success of the Air Force's research, wonder when Delta's going to send us a pair of electrodes, a nine volt battery and cut the pay for training in half?

So what's the point of that plan now? $4500 + 10% thereafter? The goal was, as Slow mentioned, hit $4500 (mostly out of pocket unless incurred at the end of the year) and be done. $375/mo and $300 after tax deduction? Now if you're kid goes in for a $23,500 bill as Slow mentioned (or a typical broken arm and surgery from falling from a tree which was $21,000 in the case of my niece) then you owe $4500 + 10% or $1850 and then 10% from that point forward.
You might want to review the HSA plan, because what you wrote above is wrong regarding the changes for this year.

For an individual the deductible is $2300. After that it's 90/10 up to a max out of pocket of $2800. So if you're a kid as described above, you'll pay $2800 total, and health care for that individual is free for the remainder of the year. The max out of pocket for a family was raised this year to $6000, but the individual out of pockets and deductibles still apply. Also, don't forget all Rx is included in this plan, so if you need expensive medication for a member of your family it caps your cost.

Again, I'm not defending Delta's overall health plans. They can be substantially improved. My response was to Johnso about the HSA. That plan works for me. It may not for you. But it's clear that a lot of people posting on this topic have no clue how the plan they're complaining about works.
