Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
ATL Crewroom last year or the year before, can't remember, but after the merger for sure:
ALPA guy with mustache: (hanging out)
White haired pilot guy: Hey [ALPA buddy with just-for-men mustache], what are you doing here?!?
ALPA guy with mustache: Hey [white haired pilot guy], I'm just here to answer questions or listen to concerns anyone might have, is there something you want us to do?
White haired pilot guy: Yeah, get rid of the Airbuses.
So, I guess the order is this for some:
1. Boeing - the only way
2. Lockheed - we'll take those too
3. McDonnell Douglas - only if we have too
4. Airbus - no way in hell
5. Bombardier - ROFLMAO, don't ever say that again
6. Embraer - who?

The solution? The one that can get you to downtown New York which owns Boston, D.C., Miami, Boston which is owned by New York (sorry Tim
), San Fran, Seattle, Chicago, New Orleans, Saint Louis, Detroit, Cleveland, Nashville maybe, Norfolk, Baltimore... what's not to love?

It is our choice to allow this to happen... too bad nobody's listening.

Living in base and driving to work? Anyone can do that, might as well work at WalMart
You're Uncle Ferd
But like I sacrifice myself on ATLM88B right now, I will one day sacrifice myself for you on the 320. you're welcome.
Although in all honesty, they couldn't have made the 380 uglier.

Delta is already doing something about the increased cost of regional feed by shuffling planes to the cheapest bidder. Unfortunately, it will take more than FT/DT to close the price gap.

As always, Slow's press releases are only part of the truth:
1) How many of those DAL aircraft on order are slated to replace airframes currently on the property?
2) DCI is 100 aircraft smaller....what was the change of gauge of the DCI makeup? How many of the smaller 50 seat RJs, which do not directly replace mainline flying, left the DCI property, in exchange for 70-76 seat airframes arriving, which DO replace mainline flying?
It's great if 200 50 seaters left the DCI property. Whats not so great is when they are replaced by 100 76 seat aircraft that parks 100 aircraft at the mainline.

How's this for a start...
If Pinnacle goes bankrupt I say lets fly the 76 seat Jets Delta owns at mainline.
Pinnacle DOES own 14 of their own 76 seat Jets. Delta owns the rest.
(bring the pilots over with a flow through-the pilots that don't want to come over can take their chances with Pinnacle)
I'm serious.
