Mine was where the PHF overnight is now. In fact that hotel area is in my school zone, so don't travel east of I64, k? But not all was lost, I got jobs at the airport to pay for flight training and then when that wasn't enough I began working as a poolboy for some F-15 driver named Ferd from Langley. Those Officer salaries were big money where I came from, probably the highest paid people around in the MSA of 1.6 million. gulp. Problem was he'd berate me every day. I do believe he graduated #1 at the Air Force Academy and his roomate was #2. It was the first time in AFA history that the #1 and #2 graduates were pilots. He also graduated #1 at Georgia Tech law school. I hope he becomes President of Delta Air Lines.
