I've got to fly tomorrow so the General Burnside/Chester Arthur has to go away. :(

It was too awesome to last more than one day.

I'll cross my fingers for a big C-series order and a bunch of 777-300ERs as growth planes. Oh, and also the restart of dedicated freighters as 777F's.

I like the way you think!

Knowing us, we will probably buy the 717

Have fun flying.

I hope the Senior VP of Flight Ops never returns to the line. I have respect for him and what he has done at Delta. Extremely smart man and will listen to what you have to say. I do believe he graduated #1 at the Air Force Academy and his roomate was #2. It was the first time in AFA history that the #1 and #2 graduates were pilots. He also graduated #1 at Georgia Tech law school. I hope he becomes President of Delta Air Lines.

I worked in the Aerospace Development world in addition to DAL for several years. I worked with a lot of smart guys. I flew to india a lot for DAL and met a lot of smart guys. To date, the smartest guy I ever met, bar none, was the valedictorian from the USAFA. However, when he graduated from Harvard Law, he was only in the top 10%. (Apparently the Chinese students for whom english is a second language were smarter than him).

Anyway, if SD was #1 at the zoo, he is smart. I am very impressed if that is the case.

Georgia Tech does not have a law school. Georgia State has an excellent program and my understanding is he did their program while an ERFO.

His classmates at the Air Force Academy say he did not like flying and that today he does not see himself as a pilot.

Why would you want him to be President of Delta? (Just curious, not suggesting he would be bad)

The Board has not selected an insider in quite some time.

In what little bit of time I have spent with him it seemed he thought the perfunctory velvet rope stuff was a waste of his time, and although nice, it probably was.

I was one of the 180.

By the way, the pregnancy rate in my 10th grade year was supposedly 30% of the females in our class although I think it was lower but definitely not single digit %. We actually had a full time child day care center for the students kids.

So where in West Virginia did you go to school?
