Quick vacation bidding question, I'm new to holding a line, we don't get trip touching drops on our vacations correct? PBS will not assign you a trip that would interfere with vacation is the way I understand it. Is that correct?

Correct on both counts. But PBS will give you a late arrival home the day before and an early sign in the day after if you are not careful.

Good Luck! As a Point of reference, on the Projected Cat list, Junior MSP DC9A is 8366 and DTW DC9A is 8730.

Being junior, I'm all for pay banding now. I'll start complaining about it maybe 10 years from now.

I'm with FTB...band 747/777/M89!

I'm thinking there is much more to the story.......but I'll doubt we'll ever really know.

Maybe. They also probably made the determination to keep the excess at the top. It keeps the senior pilots happy, and generally blissful to a new contract, scope etc. It also will help reduce training events if we ever decide to expand
