Capt D-Bag Update

Hey Guys,

I am happy to report that Capt D-Bag was not flying my DH flight back to MSP yesterday. The flight was only a few minutes late departing and we arrived on time. The First Officer did the PA and kept it short and sweet (Nice). This crew had a clue and the cabin temp was comfortable (even with a full plane and it being in the 80s in ATL). Overall I would rate this DH as a 8 out of 10, with only -2 points for the F/A pushing the American Express Cards. Have a great weekend and here is hoping your DHs are uneventful.

AP out!

I've got VD..Oops got a VD on the AE. It will be an initial qual. Is there any rhyme or reason on the order of training? IE: AE, VD then MDs? Thanks

You got an itch you can't scratch, eh? :D

Well do what Ferd said to do, scratch harder.

Conversions from AEs and VDs are normally in seniority order, while MDs are in inverse seniority order.

Boeing, Delta Clash on Exports - WSJ.com

Interesting article, seems like we are pushing pretty hard against the Exim-Bank.

Anyone know if American Airline Companies receive the same type of benefit when buying from Airbus? According to the article, it seems we do get this benefit from Brazil and Canada.

Boeing Disputes India Report of $500 Million 787 Payment

Air India seems to be shrooming pretty good if they think Boeing is going to cut them a check for $500 million.

So did Captain PA D-Bag go from the 88 to the 7ER? Or is there, sigh, more than one?

New to line holding, is there is a green slip trigger that you must be over to get double pay?

If you come from "an airline background" you should
already know that most of these guys lost everything. They have no pension, they lost all of the things that were promised to them, and they are forced to work as long as they can.

It's not a reflection on them, it's a reflection on the sad state of our industry. And your post is a reflection on you.

+1!

Well said Buzz.

Hockey...the lines over there <------------

Depends on where you are in training. I believe if you have already taken systems, you are considered corrupted. Once corrupted, you will do the short course.

It's a couple of CPT's, a couple of practice sims, manuevers and a recurrent LOE.

How do I know this, it's what they told me. I've got a similar problem.
