How many DAL pilots with apps in at FedEx?
I know of 4 with hire dates ranging from 1999-2010. This latest AE was the last straw which pushed 1 of them. Just curious if others out there are entertaining the thought. Check out the pay scales. Even 2d/3d year FOs are doing quite well. Not sure I'd want to start over though.

Has anyone taken the pilot survey in DBMS? I didn't make it past page 2, is there anything more than "does Delta complete me" (ie do you like/sleep with your hat)? I'm just so busy these days plus a survey statistics course once taught me that not participating in surveys speaks volumes also.

Purple is all Fred Smith. I believe he's had 4 heart attacks. He won't be at the helm forever. His next replacement could be a Leo M. who might ask why are we paying this much to our guys? They've had a great run. But nothing stays up forever. If you leave to chase the money, would you still be happy working there without a pension or a frozen one and pay in line with the legacies? I'm happier not chasing the money. It's like trying to find the best time to get in on Apple stock.

In the free text, I made sure to remind them that to make Delta great, if it says Delta on the side of the airplane that it should be flown by Delta mainline employees.
