Thankfully, I didn't get called to serve this year, just sit around all day like a dumbass. Last year I ended up being the frikkin foreman for a civil case where the guy was suing Home Depot for falling off a ladder that he'd put up incorrectly. He didn't win but that was three weeks of my life I'll never get back.
Make sure the defense sees this and you'll be pulled from the jury before you know it. Worked for me. |
