"Let them fleet". That'll make for great slogan. Where you around for "a contract is a contract"? That was another great one-liner. |

I'm still not too clear on why the company came to us, to open early, and get this thing done quickly. All I've heard from my Rep. when I called him to ask is,
"Richard wants to pursue Other Opportunities..." Ummm...Ok, but what's in it, for US? The wisdom of that is somewhat questionable but that's the way DALPA wants it in this era of constructive engagement. |
Timbo, good post.
I have a problrm with deliberately catching contract-itis. |
"Let them FLEET". Catchy. ;)

FWIW, I told my ATL rep that my four main items were: Scope, Pay, Sick leave, and Min calendar day for all, (reg & res). He told me, three days ago, he did not expect that we are getting a Min calendar day. I told him I needed all four items as a Min. Therefore, if true about no Min calendar day, a no vote for me.
Read the opener, It was not asked for. An Average Daily Credit is what was asked for. It still allows the flexibility to park ya for a long layo and fly you like crazy the remaining days. |
Negotiating a contract to decrease the number of pilots (and advancement opportunities) while requiring us to work more? Those are concessions. Why are we conceding anything?
How can this be all we could negotiate? If this thing gets passed, we will be referring to today as the "good ol' days." "Let them fleet!" |

Hey, pilots like Carl and DAL88 have been screaming for SWA's CBA in its entirety. Well we apparently are getting the work rule efficiencies, so they may get part of what they are asking for. |

Right now I am focused on staying here. I am going to vote no. Are you jealous that a Southwest captain makes more than you to fly a plane that carries half the passengers? I am someone who wants to make Delta industry-leading and you want me gone. I don't get it. Do you have low self-esteem or something?
And if you are going to keep publicly badmouthing Delta, I couldn't care less if you stay here. As a matter of fact, I would prefer you go somewhere you would rather be. And lastly, I couldn't care less how you are going to vote. But it is obvious that you are going to to little if any research because you have already made up your mind. That is pathetic because it shows that you are a member of the American Idol generation. ready fire aim. You have your push button soundbite, and the entire package is made up based on that. Sad. I would prefer intelligent voters, and you obviously are not one. |
