I'll bet it was below 10%.

I thought we weren't negotiating in public? I thought we weren't going to see the survey's? Throwing a number out there was suppose to be bad for us and good for management b/c now they know where we stand....what gives?
That being said I find it very disturbing if this "Rumor" is true.

Turns out Carl was right. Telling us numbers from a survey we were never allowed to see the results of. You can say pretty much anything you want and claim it was in the survey results. This process continues to be bogus.

Wow. This one statement is like a stab to my heart. I truly believed we would end up with a 30 percent raise up front. I assumed my fellow pilot group was expecting 2002 rates not adjusted for inflation (about 42 percent raise). The sad thing is I thought I managed my expectations down myself so I wouldn't be disappointed.

I'm with you, 30% is the bottom for me. Along with no scope give aways and better min day, it's a NO from me if we don't see at least 30% day one.

There is no way Richard Anderson could go to the board of our Company and tell them "Hey guys, it cost us some money, but we got it done early." The only thing he (or any manager in his position) could do is report the outstanding deal he got through proactive engagement.

Nothing against anyone if this early bite at the apple fails. Both sides worked hard in good faith.

Given that this (and whatever we negotiate before a strike vote) is going to be relatively cost neutral, I am fine with not selling scope or work rules for pay.

Well, when we have no way of officially knowing what number was reflected in the contract survey, then we have to take DALPA's word for it.
