Default Timeline question

I’m new here & looking for some help. I have an interview this month and am wondering what timeline to expect between interview, indoc & training if I’m lucky enough to get hired? Also wondering about lodging options during indoc & training? Thanks.

For lodging ALPA made a deal with The Red Lion for newhire training. I think it came out to like ~38 bucks a night. The Mexican restaurant downstairs is off the hook too.

Timeline from interview to indoc vary. I was hired around the holidays, so for me it was 2 months. When hiring slowed down last summer it was up to 4 mos for some. We’re so short right now, that I doubt it’ll take that long. Seems like the average right now is 4-6 weeks. Indoc is 2 weeks, then home for 1-2 weeks for CBTs, then you come back for procedure trainings and sims. All said and done, from receiving the job offer and finishing IOE, it was just under 4 mos. for me.
For training, some stayed at hotels and others at crashpads. You’ll see ads all over the TC for crashpads and for the most part they’re decent. I had a bunk at a crashpad and it worked out fine for me. The red lion gives you a decent rate for training, but it still adds up.
Good luck!

This is very interesting. A year ago I received a fix-it email I responded that I had made the correct of changes, I sent an email saying I made the changes, and I immediately received an email saying that this was an unmonitored email. I received a fix-it email a few months ago again. This time I checked and made sure everything was in order However I did not respond to the email due to my last experience. After reading a few posts I just recently responded that I made sure the requested corrections were made. I did not receive the same email about it being on monitored like I did last year. However the one thing I did do was contact pilot recruiting on Facebook via messenger. I have not received any further communication just yet.
