So I see the Hilton ATL is the place to book for the interview. What’s the rule of thumb, book for two nights being optimistic?

I prefer the la Quinta. Cheaper, has free breakfast, and a good shuttle.

I second this. I’ve booked 2 nights for mid October. Price was half of what the Hilton was.

The Crowne and the Holiday Inn on Virginia ave both have regular shuttles over to delta campus too. If you are not already working for an airline, be sure to let them know you are interviewing at delta and ask if they can give you the delta rate. I think that is $65 at the holiday inn, don’t know about the others.

Thanks for the great info. Called the Hilton and was told no Delta rate. Even being gold just got me $134/night or $108/night with prepay.

I'll call the other two options and see what I can come up with.

Did you get the front desk or the reservations line?

It's the Holiday Inn North on Virginia Ave. There are quite a few Holiday Inns around the airport.

You can’t change human nature. I’m not talking about a concerted effort or anything against negotiations. The people that want money will always work more. The people like me who don’t like working and want to hang by my pool or the beach with the kids will go on not trying to work at all.

Highly recommend La Quinta.. Clean, friendly, and an easy 6 minute walk to the G.O. front gate on YOUR schedule, no shuttle to worry about.
