Yes.

I was told the recs on airline apps don’t help you get the interview as they are only looked at once you have received the interview invite.

Recommendations are looked at by the people doing application scoring.

I have also heard that they are only looked at during scoring and that the interviewers dont even see them.

So we all agree that you CAN submit recs.

Will they help you get the interview? Yes/No/Maybe

Good luck!!

The rec on airline apps probably does close to nothing. I’m sure it factors into the ‘score’ somehow but i’d Venture to guess very few people know that formula.

The email gets your app reviewed, that’s all it does.

They don't change your score, but can help the scorer make a decision as parts of it are subjective. Probably more of a factor in close calls.

Overall I think Delta's premium pay system is a significant contributor to Delta's success because it's a win for all parties. The Company completed the flight, the pilots are paid lucratively for their efforts, and the customer gets to their destination with less delays.

JMHO but I think next summer will be much easier due to no last minute extra flying due to MAX grounding, no JFK runway construction, and we'll be adequately staffed. Time will tell

Is Delta still using Airline APPS for their online application service?
