I did 2 job fairs. One in 2015 and another in 2016, I got one interview from each of them. First interview was unsuccessful, but helped me for the DAL HR portion. I don’t even know how much I spent, but it was hard just getting payed $41/hr RJ fo. Got hired here 3 years before my friends flew through AA. Most of them still in 1st year pay.

Job fairs works, if the resume is well built and app is on point. I only wish I targeted Delta earlier, but happy to be here.

Hello all, I’m wondering if anyone has current info on the best choices for interview hotels, please?

My searches only turned up dated information.

Thank you.

Use the Hilton. It’s the closest place to HQ.

I disagree. Laquinta is newer and about half the price or more. They have a shuttle that goes to the world HQ. Hilton wanted $550 for 2 nights the week of my interview.

I used the Hilton and it was the worst stay of my life. My room was next to the maid supply room and the hinge was creaky. Got less than 3 hours of sleep before the cog test, I'm lucky I passed because my mind was in a fog all day.

I stayed at the hampton inn (I had a car, so not sure of transportation). The free breakfast was nice each morning to get the day going.

Heard similar remarks from other interviewees, they said the rooms were old and not worth the price.

I stayed at the Hilton. It was not a memorable stay, good or bad. Maybe I blanked it all out after the interview. I do know it was an easy walk to the interview and there was also a shuttle available.

It is amazing to me to hear anyone recommend that property. I imagine it is much improved after renovation, but it used to be an absolute dump. When it was a Red Roof Inn there were rumors of drug and prostitution operations there.

Those were definitely not rumors
