Exactly! Btw, that windscreen looks aweful familiar

I asked this on another thread but...

Does Delta still ask how many sick calls you've had in the last year during an interview? I was down with a bad flu for a couple weeks and had some emergency dental work that made me miss 4 trips since November. Would this many be a disqualifier?

Thanks

The latest "unofficial" word is 120+ new hires with the first class running in January. Interviews would precede that by a few months.

No idea if/when they will actually announce it, nor how many will be "off the street" - ie not Compass/Pinnacle flows, etc.

This is strictly rumor mill at this point but I've been hearing the exact same numbers/timeframe from multiple people. Hopefully it kicks off soon and lasts a LONG time.

From what I understand, Delta runs a "point" system to select for interviews... Was this in place during the last hiring process? Has the process become so HR driven that internal recs mean less than they used to?

120 what? All year? That seems highly unlikely they would even bother to spool up the process for that amount.

Anytime I hear the quote stating that hiring will "last indefinitely once it starts" I immediately want to laugh.

I think the quote is "we'll hire until we furlough."
