If you think I'm the worse thing that could come to Delta you are mistakened. While many of the SSPs are good pilots there are those who have busted numerous interviews at other legacies/majors (read: unhireable personalities) who will get into Delta through the SSP. Not everyone became a regional lifer there because of good schedules and QOL.

Can anyone comment on rumors that the knowledge test is substantially different than it used to be? Either here or by PM?

Well, one good thing is that the moderators of this board are Delta guys mostly and I know they wont want this trash attitude at DAL. So like last time, the false sense of anonymity will prove the down fall of a foolish individual..... Which is karma and their parents should have taught them better.....

One up, please keep talking....

I have on good faith from the top that the SSP individuals have been held strictly to DL hiring standards. There are those of us who are watching it very closely.

One Up's previous posts have been fine in his history. I can only assume he was having some fun with us. For future reference, One Up, further trolling will not be tolerated. There are those of us looking out to make sure that only the ones that meet DL quals and interview standards get hired. If you are one that possibly meets that- ensuring that those that dont do not pass the interview process is critical in your chance at getting an interview and future seniority position. (You wouldn't want to be junior to the likes of AR for the rest of your career would you?)

Just some SA for those military guys wondering how their resume scores......A pilot VERY high at DAL pulled my application and reviewed it. He said I scored high. He did not elaborate on how high but that it was good. I know a lot of military guys including myself wonder how many hours and what quals we need to be competitive so this is what mine are. They are not impressive but they meet the mins. If the mins weren't good enough they wouldn't be the mins.
1400 F-16 (1069 sorties)
350 IP
234 ME turbine dual UPT
150 Cessna
Quals: Flight Evaluator, Flight Safety Officer and IP
CFI and CFII

As you can see they don't really have a wow factor. However I think the total score probably isn't based on just your hours. I also have 7 internal LORs so that probably helps too. Not 100% sure.

If you are legacy I've also been informed to expect invites at the very beginning of 2014.

Hopes this helps.....

Those qualifications are commensurate to fighter guys that get the email, TOGAANG. You'll be in great shape!

A "legacy" is an applicant who has immediate family employed at Delta
