Ok, yep, you're right once again. I'm studying like I would for anything else, the difference is this interview is GUARANTEED, like it or not. The SSP will work.

Keep telling yourself that.

Make sure you let us know when you get hired!

We'll be lucky if the NMB doesn't declare Pinnacle pilots to be Delta pilots.

Nobody listened, but you've been right about this all along Bar.
Someday we are going to regret having two sets of pilots signing contracts with Delta.
So if the NMB declared that, would that be a form of scope recapture? 81 76 seat RJ's and however many 50 seaters Endeavor/PCL has flown by Delta pilots?

The economics wouldn't be pretty,..and future bargaining would be downright ugly, but what would FtB and the boys have to complain about?

OK now I am offended... Dogs shouldn't be made to eat terrorists. That's gross AND mean!!!

Hey Fisher, I don't comment on here much and hadn't updated my profile since I got hired in '10. Truth is, I still feel like a new hire considering there are Biscoff cookies that have been on the plane longer than I have. I came from the comuters with no recs. I saw a few guys in suits with red ties in the headquarter cafeteria yesterday while I was in town for recurrent. Everyone, including myself is excited about the movement. Good luck to you, it's an exciting time to be here.

Think about that for a minute. The INTERVIEW is guaranteed. Doesn't say anything about actually having to HIRE everybody that does interview. Regardless, there is still the new hire evaluations from line pilots and probation hurdle to take care of any attitude issues that may develop.

It was one comment on a message board, obviously someone being facetious. Any pilot that goes to the SSP interview will have at least 8 years of employment history viewable to Delta, any issues will most likely be documented.

Ugh! Come on man, terrible attitude to have. We should not be entitled to anything! We voted for the concessions, and now we must lay in the bed we made. I'm grateful we got the SSP, even though I probably won't benefit from it anytime soon, as I'm pretty far down the seniority list (900ish), but your post is contrary to how most Endeavor pilots i talk to feel. My personal belief (not that it means anything) - the SSP states you must meet Delta Air Lines hiring criteria to qualify for an SSP interview, which one of those qualifications is a 4 yr degree. if you've never had the determination to at least get a 4 yr degree from some bullsh/t online university, then you have no business working at Delta Air Lines.

98% of the SSP interviews should do just fine. They are very polished individuals and they know to come into the interview with their tails tucked between their legs. At least shyguy isn't an SSP so we don't need to worry about him getting hired.
