Just an observation, but based on your posting, why do YOU personally feel the need to watch it "very closely"? The process will sort itself out.

IIRC, you said there around 10-15% of the pilots at your former employer that weren't up to your personal standard. Chances are, that number can't even get through the app, let alone the interview process.

Whenever a pilot on the DAL list that DIDN'T go through the DAL interview process (Flow, NWA, Western, etc) screws something up, do you feel it's YOUR job to start watching them to?

Seriously man, you got the job, you won the race!!!! Congrats!!!!!!! If one that you personally find undesirable makes it through, will that be the end of the DAL hiring standard as we know it? There will ALWAYS be those that get through ANY process that maybe shouldn't have. It's out of YOUR personal control, why fret over it so much?

Maybe my post was a little arrogant, however, I just feel that there are ppl at DL that are really pi**ed about he SSP. I think that DL will hire more 9E pilots than one might think. The reason is to keep pilots at 9E and to give new hires some incentive to work at a place with a garbage CBA even though they won't qualify for this SSP, it will show movement.

 

How many "off the street" interviewees have there been?

 

I heard that it was substantially different. All you can do at this point is study general knowledge areas and hope that some gouge comes out soon.

No, there was not. So far Delta is selecting guys from the very top of our list and or junior military guys.

 

As I posted earlier, this is the actual MMPI you take in the interview on day 2. This is the answer sequence to appear normal/neutral. I suppose anyone could plug this in to get an idea of what the test is about and looking for. This is not an answer sequence for pilots though.
